About Our Student Organization
Scripps Education Association (SEA) is a non-profit student organization under the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) at the UC San Diego. We represent students across four majors: Environmental Systems, Geosciences, Marine Biology, and Oceanic & Atmospheric Sciences.
We encourage academic and professional growth by providing valuable resources, career development workshops, networking opportunities, and educational and social events. SEA works to connect students with opportunities to grow, engage, and make a difference in the field of oceanography and beyond. We are a welcoming community for all who have a passion for marine, earth, and atmospheric sciences.
