Board Election

S.E.A. board elections take place during the Winter Quarter of the UCSD academic year. Elected officers are expected to serve for the full academic year, including the following summer. Only registered UC San Diego undergraduate students who are board or general members on the official member list are eligible to run. Candidates must be present for all quarters during their term and may hold the same position for a maximum of two consecutive years but must rerun annually. Members can run for up to two officer positions and must complete the intent-to-run Google form to validate eligibility. Additionally, Co-President candidates must have served on the board for at least one year before running.
