Angel Huang

Angel is a third-year at UCSD majoring in Marine Biology with a minor in Math. She's been involved with SEA Club as the Social Media Coordinator and now serve as the Secretary. She also started the Scuba Social Group and arrange quarterly dive trips—so if you’re a diver or interested in scuba, definitely reach out! Angel became scientific diving certified this past June and have since been helping with field collections and diving at Birch Aquarium. She have over 200 hours of scuba diving experience and hold certifications in rescue diving, enriched air, and freediving. She loves being involved in hands-on fieldwork, whether it’s collecting data underwater, volunteering at aquariums, or working with research projects. Beyond diving, she work in the Dolphin Research Lab analyzing dolphin vocalizations, and spent this past summer interning at the California Wolf Center studying wolf behavior and vocalizations.
